Visit Fisherman’s Wharf

Houseboats at Fisherman's Wharf | Tourism Victoria/Sheila Matheson photo

One of my favourite places to visit in Victoria is Fisherman’s Wharf, just a 10-minute walk from the Empress, west along the Inner Harbour. Be sure to take your camera. Here you will see a multitude of houseboats, some with “back-yard” gardens. Fisherman’s Wharf provides moorage for these live-aboards, as well as for commercial businesses (including Victoria’s only floating ice cream store) and fishing boats. Check it out here.
